Game Development with Scratch
Course Overview
Scratch is a free block-based coding program for kids developed by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Scratch’s simple visual coding interface helps young coders create interesting and engaging digital applications like animated stories, games, and interactive arts. In this course, kids will learn abstract programming concepts through the use of colorful, fun and engaging projects. It is this fun-based learning approach to coding that makes Scratch one of the most popular tools for teaching early beginners how to code. Scratch is Codeworld’s foundational program for early first time coders in the 7-11 age bracket
