Weekend Camps are back — and registration is OPEN!
Starting September 20th, Codeworld is launching a brand-new cycle of Weekend Tech Camps designed to prepare African kids and teens for the AI-driven future.
Launch Your Child into AI; Weekend Camps Begin Sept 20
Teens aged 13–17 can design, prototype, and pitch their first AI-powered product in a 12-week weekend program. They will learn design thinking, app development with Glide, training AI models, branding, UI/UX, business model basics, and pitching skills. By the end, participants will have created a functional AI prototype app, a trained AI feature, a one-page business model, and a professional pitch deck, and will present at a showcase. The program emphasizes hands-on, interactive learning with portfolio-driven projects and small-group collaboration.
This course introduces coding and AI fundamentals to children aged 10–12 through engaging projects. Using Python, students learn core programming concepts through hands-on activities, building confidence and creating mini-projects.
Key topics include:
Python basics: variables, input/output, conditionals, loops
Lists and data structures
Graphics with Turtle
Functions and modular projects
Introductory AI concepts , and a final project for classmates and parents.
This program offers playful projects for ages 7–9, introducing AI and machine learning through a block-based platform. Students engage in lessons to train models for image, sound, and pose detection, leading to interactive projects.
Key Skills:
Image and sound recognition, pose detection
Block-based programming, logical thinking
Creative storytelling with AI
Problem-solving and basic model training.
